From: dhika sadjad Subject: PLN workshop To: rhiza@unhas.ac.id, rhiza ...snip... seed_17@yahoogroups.com Lately, I really understand the meaning of finishing things one day at a time... It's amazing how much life can demand from you, and yet give you as much in return. On Sunday, I succeeded in the IVED intercom... This means two things. I'm burdened to win in a competition where I once lost, and this means that my activities have added up till the end of february. But all well, ends well... After the intercom, I spent three days leaving depok at 5 o'clock in the morning and coming home at 11.p.m. to held my seminars in PLN. Jakarta's rush hour is simply MAD!!! Imagine standing up in heels for two hours on a bus after just 5hours of sleep for three days in a row!! On the first day I just couldn't help complaining. But on the second day, I realized that I was surrounded by people who did this EVERY DAY!!! So, I decided to shut my mouth and continue my job with patience. Being an instructure in PLN left e amazed by the way people think. It's sooooooooo hard to teach these people the concept of logic and constructive arguments!! They couldn't see their mistakes and it was hard to have an interactive session. But some were quite enthusiastic (did i spell that right?), and it helped us through the day. On the third day we had a lot of people asking us to help them set an English work shop in their units. This was exciting since these were people coming from all over Indonesia. They're going to give proposals to their unit's management. We were glad that our hard work paid off. Not only did everyone enjoyed our seminar, but people were interested in debating. We felt like we found a gold mine. If all goes well, this will be great for EDS UI funding and also great for our network. So, please pray for us. ISDC is just around the corner. I'm sooooo excited!!! I'm going to become an instructor and an adjudicator. We're staying in Sahid so, the accomodation is great!! well, this is just a short report of what i've been up to. I hope everyone feels that life is going well... because even though I've never felt so exhausted, life has been very kind to me... I GOT MY VISA TO IRELAND!!! isn't this GREAT WONDERFUL AMAZING news... I was at a private school called Madinah in Parung for an exhibition debate when I got the news. I barely could stop from jumping up and down with joy!!The students in that school gave me wiered looks when I couldn't help smiling and laughing without reason!!! so... thisis all... best regards to all dhika
