Technical Description
This handy table unit makes it possible to determine deflection and elongation in a clamped metal disc while subjecting it to varying pressure loads. The circular aluminium membrane is clamped at the edges. Measuring tapes for determining the elongation are attached to the disc at different radii. The signal is evaluated by the required accessory FL 151 (measuring amplifier). The adjustable position measurement gauge, which is mounted on a cross-member, can be used to measure the deflection at any radius. The pressure of max. 0.6bar is created in the maintenance-free hydraulic system with a hand pump and displayed on a manometer.
