Technical Description
Using this table unit, centrifugal forces and angular momentum of angular motion are investigated. For this purpose a circular disc made of metal can be accelerated using offset weights and a winder. The disc can also be fitted with a hollow cylinder or a longitudinal rod to change its weight. Alternatively, a rail can be fitted along which a carriage can move. In this way centrifugal forces can be produced at varying radii. The unit is equipped with an electronic angular speed measuring device. Software with which the measured data can be evaluated on a PC is also included. The solid metal base has a bubble level and adjustment bolts for precise alignment.
