Technical Description
With the aid of this table unit, basic experiments can be performed on the equilibrium of forces in plane systems, on the resolution of forces and vector addition. In the middle of the scale disc, a metal ring is fitted over a centring pin. Cords are attached to this pin and then fitted over guide rollers so that the ends hang down. Different weights can be hung on the cords. The guide rollers can be distributed around the circumference of the scale disc and fixed in place using locking bolts. The disc has a printed scale for reading the angle. The slotted weights are easy to fit and remove. Levelling bolts on the base plate enable the unit to aligned horizontally.
