Structure Demonstration Model, Set of 7 Experiments

Technical Description

This demonstration unit has been specially developed to enable investigation into all possible bending phenomena of a bending bar. The following major experiments are possible with a minimum of individual parts. The bearings are designed in such a way that both articulated and clamped bearing is possible. The related test bars can be deformed with forces or moments as required using weights. Here the related angle of rotation of the bearing point is indicated on pointers. Height adjustable scales record the deformation of the bar. They are equipped with a magnetic base.
The relevant experiments are also available as individual modules.
