HL 305 Hydraulic Compensation of Radiators Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
Hydraulic compensation is used to limit the amount of water to that calculated for each radiator. Compensation ensures that all radiators can be supplied with hot water at all operating points according to their thermal requirement. The compensation is performed using preset thermostatic valves. The system uses commercially available components to implement three heating circuits with radiators, thermostatic valves and a circulating pump. Once filled, the system is independent of the water mains or heating feed and return flow pipe connections. However, it can be operated in conjunction with a heating circuit.
