Technical Description
The CE 117 has been developed for investigating the fluidised bed behaviour of particle packings in water and the flow behaviour of particle beds as a filter element. The apparatus has a detachable transparent filter unit, 2 different differential pressure gauges, a flow meter and a compensation tank. During experiments, water flows from the laboratory supply vie the flow meter and the feed distributor to the filtration unit, flows through the unit and then off to drain. Corrosion-resistant materials are used.
