Liquid Mixing Unit

Technical Description

The self-contained liquid mixing unit CE 320 is used to visualize mixing processes of liquids. The different mixing experiments are performed in a tank with an electric motor driven stirrer. The variable speed of the stirrer can be adjusted. The tank is made of borosilicate glass resistant to chemicals. It is fitted with a drain. A pipe coil used as heat exchanger or 3 or 4 detachable baffles can be placed in the tank. The impeller of the stirrer can be easily exchanged. 9 different impellers, including a propeller, a turbine and several flat plate paddles are provided. Conclusions on the quality of the mixing process are made with the supplied conductivity meter.
The impeller speed and the shaft torque are digitally displayed at the stirrer.
