Technical Description
The heat pump extracts heat from the ambient air and uses it to heat a water circuit. Components clearly laid out on a panel provide a good overview of the principle of operation. Commercially available components are used such as a hermetic compressor, a finned tube evaporator and a water-cooled coaxial condenser. All important temperatures for the refrigerant and water circuits, pressures and the compressor electrical power are indicated digitally. The measured values can be further processed on a PC. A PC data acquisition card and the corresponding are supplied. The system is mounted on a steel tube frame with castors so it can be easily moved to seminar rooms and lecture theatres.
A supply of cooling water is required for continuous use.
