TM 613 Comprehensive Flywheel Apparatus Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
Using the TM 613 Comprehensive Flywheel Apparatus, basic experiments on uniformly accelerated angular motion can be performed. A ball bearing mounted flywheel can be placed in motion using weights attached to a cord. Additional masses enable the moment of inertia of the flywheel to be varied. An oscillating pen records the accelerated angular motion of the wheel. The unit is excellently suited to student experiments. The unit is intended for wall mounting, however as an alternative it can be also be used with the TM 090 stand manufactured by G.U.N.T.
