ET 921 Domestic Air Conditioning Simulator Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The ET 921 simulates the typical cycle of an air conditioning system and demonstrates thermostatic control of the temperature. The front panel shows 3 different types of domestic air conditioning system (portable and fixed split design; compact design). As well as a drawing of the system and a system diagram, there are 2 potentiometers for input of the external and target room temperatures of each system. The set temperature values are transferred to the simulation software via USB cable. State changes of the potentiometers immediately influence the simulation, allowing reactions in the cycle to be observed. As well as model selection and fault management, the software provides 4 further views: system with current room temperatures and heat flows; system diagram with current room temperatures, temperatures and pressures in the refrigeration circuit and settings for the pressure switch in the 2 split systems; p-h state diagram; measured values over time.
