HM 170.02 Drag Model "Hemisphere" Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The hemispherical drag model is intended for use in the measuring section of the HM 170 Educational Wind Tunnel. The model consist of a hemisphere made of steel sheet and a mounting rod made of corrosion-resistant steel. The hemisphere is painted red. The model is placed in a 2-component force transducer, this indicates the drag force as a measured value when the body is placed in a flow.
