HM 500.07 Pitot Tube Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The pitot tube measures the total pressure in a flowing fluid using a pitostatic tube. At the same time the static component is measured using a vertical tube. If both measuring tubes are connected to a differential pressure gauge, the dynamic pressure component is displayed on the gauge; this component is equivalent to the flow speed or flow rate. The measuring device is made of Plexiglas so that the measuring section can be viewed with ease.
