HM 161.34 Ogee Weir with Manometer Board Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The Ogee weir is one of the fixed overflow weirs. The weir body has 8 pressure measuring holes so that the pressure along the back of the weir can be measured. The pressure measuring holes are connected to a manometer panel on the side of the weir. The HM 161.54 Base Plate is required for fastening the weir in the channel. Tubular seals inserted in slots on the weir body complete the experimental set-up.
Learning Objectives / Experiments
· Flow over an overflow weir
· Measurements of the pressure along the back of the weir

For exact measurement of water levels, the use of the HM 161.52 Level Gauge on the moving HM 161.59 Instrument Carriage is recommended.
