Technical Description
Using this experimental set the deformation of a loaded bending bar by forces and moments is considered using the principle of virtual work. The set is intended for use with the SE 110 or SE 111 universal testing frames. The set contains a test bar that can be clamped at both ends. In this way statically defined or undefined cases can be investigated as required. Forces or moments can be applied at any position, this feature permits different load cases to be investigated. For the determination of forces and deformation mech. dial gauges are used. An additional bearing with a dynamometer is used for the direct measurement of forces on the bar.
