Technical Description

This set of flat tension specimens is available as an accessory for the WP 300 Universal Material Tester. The specimens are used in conjunction with the specimen holder in the WP 300.14 Chucks for Flat Tensile Specimen. The specimens are of rectangular cross-section. The contour of the test section complies with DIN 50125, shape E. To mark the test length there are two light centre punch marks on each of the specimens. The specimens have a widened section at both ends for attachment, using this section the specimens can be hung in the specimen holders. The set contains one tension specimen made of aluminium (AlMgSi0,5F22), one of copper (E-Cu), one of brass (CuZn39Pb3) and one of steel (9SMn28).
