TM 150.01 Vibration Sensor with Clamping Set Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The sensor is used to measure electrically the amplitudes of various oscillators on the universal vibration system TM 150. Because it does not require contact, it avoids the possibility of false readings. The induction-based displacement principle makes it possible to measure amplitude on practically any metal object. The sensor provides an analog position-proportional voltage value as the output signal. The required power is supplied by the sensor supply module TM 151 or by the PC-aided data recording system TM 150.20. TM 151supplies up to 4 sensors and processes the sensor signals, i.e. to be shown on an oscilloscope.
Learning Objectives / Experiments
The sensor can be used with TM 150 universal vibration system for the following experiments:
Pendulum experiments
Natural oscillation of a bar-type oscillator
Damped oscillation of a bar-type oscillator
Forced oscillation of a bar-type oscillator
(damped and undamped resonance)
Features
Non-contact inductive position sensor
