SE 110.76 Experimental Set Portal Frame with Internal Brackets Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
The subject of experiments using this experimental set is the elastic deformation of a loaded portal frame. It is a supplement to the SE 110 / SE 111 universal test frame. The experimental object is a welded frame made of rectangular metal section. Its base is open. Additionally, internal brackets are fitted. The frame can be loaded vertically or horizontally as required using sets of weights and 3 moving hooks. The resulting deformation is measured with a dial gauge. The bearings can be either fixed or free enabling the portal to be observed as statically defined or undefined system. The experimental set-up is quickly and securely assembled using special clamps. The optional available software SE 110.66 supports learning success.
