TM 140.20 PC Data Acquisition System Show data sheet (pdf file)
Technical Description
This data acquisition system facilitates the measurement, recording and evaluation of data from TM 140 using a PC. It allows easy generation of resonance curves, modes and FFT analyses and allows the data to be saved and printed out. It also offers a digital storage oscilloscope function for recording step responses and analysis of the vibration signal. The core of the system is the interface box. It supplies up to 4 sensors, prepares their measuring signals for the PC and provides them for display via 4 analogue outputs. The required operating system is Windows NT or higher.
Learning Objectives / Experiments
The TM 140.20 supports the following experiments on the TM 140 Torsional Vibration Apparatus:
- Natural vibration of a torsional vibration system
- Forced vibration (damped and undamped resonance) of a single
  mass system
- Forced vibration of multiple mass systems
- Resonant frequencies and modes
Features
* Measurement and representation of resonance
  curves
* Digital storage oscilloscope
