The illustration shows the pressure loss curves for different flowmeters in a diagram with logarithmic scaling. The pressure loss Dp is plotted in mbar on the y-axis, the flow rate in ltr/h on the x-axis. It can be clearly seen that, e.g., the HM 500.16 Baffle Plate Flow Indicator is relatively imprecise, because high pressure losses are produced when it is used, whilst the HM 500.04 Magnetic-Inductive Flowmeter has the lowest pressure losses. The measurements were performed in the range from 500-5000ltr/h.
