Technical Description
The ET 174 was designed for investigations, simulations, and fault finding on standard electrical components commonly used in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The benchtop unit demonstrates the electrical circuit for an air conditioning system with summer and winter mode. Compressor, fan and heater are simulated. All other electrical components are industry standard components. The circuit diagram for the system is printed on the front panel. Laboratory sockets enable measuring instruments to be connected for fault finding. Up to 30 faults can be triggered by the lecturer so that the students can learn to systematically find and fix faults.
