HM 170.01 Drag Model "Sphere" Show data sheet (pdf file) Print page
Technical Description
The spherical drag model is intended for use in the measuring section of the HM 170 Educational Wind Tunnel. It consists of a sphere and mounting rod made of corrosion-resistant steel. The sphere is painted red. The model is placed in a 2-component force transducer, this indicates the drag force as a measured value when the body is placed in a flow.
