Technical Description
The HM 163.48 accessory is intended to enable the user to investigate the behaviour of waves on a rising beach; the unit is used in combination with the HM 162.41 Wave Generator. The stainless steel experimental set-up simulates a coarse stone beach. This is achieved by bonding knopped sponge rubber to the surface facing the waves. The experimental layout consists of a beach body, a mounting plate and an inclination adjustment bar with a locking bolt. The inclination of the unit can be continuously adjusted. In this way different steeply rising beaches are very easy to simulate.
