Technical Description
The HM 161.50 Pitotstatic Tube is used to measure the pressure in the HM 161 Large Flow Channel. The dynamic pressure present at the measuring point is indicated in a easy to read manner on a battery operated display unit in mbar on a digital display. The unit is designed for placing on the HM 161.59 Instrument Carriage. The vertical scale indicates the measuring height in mm. It is also possible to calculate from the measured values the velocity and the flow rate of the fluid. The HM 161.50 is suitable for flow speeds over 1.5m/s.
