Technical Description
The HM 161.74 is required for experiments with the HM 161.41 Wave Generator. The displacement flap can be used for two purposes: As a paddle in conjunction with the wave generator, and to block the flow in conjunction with a flow blocking device. In the latter case the wave generator is not required, the plate is placed in the channel to block the flow. It can also be used as an overshoot weir if fixed at a certain angle.

· Different wave shapes, wave reflection, absorption of wave forces
