Technical Description

With the PC-aided measurement data record. system HM 170.60 the educational wind tunnel HM 170 can be expanded to a measuring system that can display recorded data on a PC as well as process and print out the data. It consists of an A/D converter with LCD, evaluation software and a retrofitting set for the model holder. The holder is retrofitted so that the inlet angle of the model is provided as a measured value. With its multi-line LCD the converter is a practical extension even without a PC, since measured values such as pressure and velocity can be displayed immediately.

Learning Objectives / Experiments

The PC-aided measurement data recording system HM 170.60 makes it possible to digitalise the measured values from experiments carried out with the educational wind tunnel HM 170, as well as present and process this information on the PC.
