Technical Description
The principle of operation of this unit is the generation of a angular frequency on a paddle wheel. The flow is deflected by a nozzle onto the paddle wheel, there the kinetic energy is converted into angular motion. The angular frequency is transmitted to an analysis unit, without contact, by a ring magnet and converted there into an analogue voltage signal. This voltage signal corresponds to the actual flow rate and is displayed on a digital display. The operating area of the unit is fitted with a transparent cover and as a result can be clearly seen.
