Technical Description
The HM 240.02 Digital Power Meter is part of a series of units that enable experiments to be performed on flow processes with the aid of a computer. It is connected between loads (HM 240 or HM 241) and the mains supply. Because the output is determined by a real-time multiplication of current and voltage, the measured result is unrelated to the curve shape and provides accurate measured results, even in the case of phase control. The measured value is available at a 5-pin output socket on the front panel as an analogue signal voltage that can be fed to the HM 240.01 Data Logging Unit.
