Technical Description
The HM 170.52 unit generates high-density fog by evaporating a water-glycol mix. The fog is introduced into the HM 170 Educational Wind Tunnel using a lance. To introduce the fog in the wind tunnel, the lance is inserted in the holes in the duct provided for this purpose. As a result of the partial vacuum present in the HM 170, the fog generated is drawn into the air flow. The fog forms flow lines in the wind tunnel, these lines make the flow around bodies visible.
