Technical Description
This unit for the investigation of ground water flows and drainage processes is fitted to a trolley. It consists primarily of a plastic tank that is filled with fine gravel for the experiments. Inlet and outlet pipes facilitate the production of a flow of water through the layer of gravel. Measuring connections are fitted to the base of the tank, these are connected to tube manometers using hoses so that the water levels can be displayed on a measuring station. Inserts supplied with the unit facilitate the simulation of excavations and wells. The gravel filling is not included.
