Technical Description
The accessory set consists of 2 pipe sections that can be individually selected using ball valves. The selection of different pipe materials allows to examine thermal expansion depending on temperature and also material. The pipe sections are attached to the panel with a fixed and a movable bearing, so that the change in length on the free end can be determined with dial gauges. The panel can easily be attached to the base unit HL 900 with turn-lock fasteners. A hot water connection and drain are required for operation. The accessory set should be set up horizontally in order to avoid the influence of gravity on results.
