Technical Description
The test stand for investigating losses in pipes is a complete, closed experimental set-up. Due to the installation of the set-up on a laboratory trolley and the closed water circuit with supply tank and pump, the test stand is flexible in use. Eight different pipe sections are provided for the investigations, these are equipped with annular chambers with measuring connections for pressure measurements. The pipes can be individually selected for the investigations using ball-cocks. Double tube manometers are provided for pressure measurements along with a battery-operated electronic differential pressure gauge. The flow rate is indicated on a variable-area flow meter. An instruction manual with detailed description of the theoretical background is supplied.
