Technical Description
This loading mechanism is used if larger test forces up to 5kN are required. It is intended as an additional accessory for the SE 110 and SE 111 range of units and can be rapidly fitted to the relevant test frame using rapid action clamps. The force is generated using a threaded spindle and a hand wheel with a nut. The nut is free of play and mounted on a low-friction axial ball bearing. A ring dynamometer is fitted between the threaded spindle and the joint transmitting the force. Readings are taken directly on a calibrated dial gauge; the zero point of the gauge can be adjusted.
