Pertandingan olahraga Dies Natalis dimulai

Dimeriahkan kegiatan aeromodeling menandai p[embukaan kegiatan peringatan Dies Natalis ke-60 Unhas.

Unhas that previously was positioned in the 11th, eventually advanced to the 8th position, surpassing Universitas Diponegoro and Universitas Padjajaran. The rise in of the Unhas ranks is known to be of high significance, considering that the position would require the University to overlap reputable universities of Java, including Undip, and Unpad.

Unhas will send 14 students to conduct the International Community Service Program in Japan. They originate from the Faculty of Agriculture (5 individuals), Animal Husbandry (2 individuals), Forestry (2 individuals), and Marine Sciences and Fisheries (4 individuals).

In commemoration of the 60th Dies Natalis, Unhas chose the theme of “Strengthening People-Based Economics Towards a Better Indonesia.” Therefore, stated the Head Committee of the 60th Dies Natalis Unhas, Prof. Dr. Gagaring Pagalung, M.Si.Ak during his ceremonial report of the Indonesia’s 71st anniversary, that numerous events would be conducted in celebrating the Dies Natalis this year.

The 71st Republic of Indonesian Independence commemoration took place in a solemn yet aroused ceremony in the Unhas basketball field, with the Unhas rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A. as the inspector of the ceremony. The independence ceremony consisted of the raising of the Indonesian flag and the proclamation of Pancasila and Mukaddimah UUD 1945 by the members of the scout. Unhas Rector then proceeded with the handing over of the satya lencana tribute to two of Unhas lecturers.
