Nur Ihramayanti, a student of the Faculty of Forestry, and Awal Wahyudi, a student of the Faculty of Cultural Studies, attained the first winner for Quran recitation, and Islamic Speech contest, conducted in Unhas from 22-23 June 2016. Both were awarded IDR 1.5 million and IDR 1.75 million.
The second and third winners of the MTQ were Ammar Suud (Marine Sciences and Fisheries), and Armawati (Mathematics and Natural Sciences). Both obtained development funds as much as IDR 1.25 million and IDR 1 million. Meanwhile, the second and third winners of the Islamic Speech Contests were received by Alfiah Ummah Suhaimah (Social Political Sciences) and Muh. Auzan Haq (Law), with each obtaining IDR 1.5 million and IDR 1.25 million. (*)
