Universitas Hasanuddin institutionally achieved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System with the App/Cert Number: QEC25400. The achievement of Unhas in receiving ICSO was announced by Unhas Rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A. during the graduation ceremony of 1.005 graduates of the Post-Graduate Program, taking place in Baruga Andi Pangerang Petta Rani of the Tamalanrea Campus, Thursday (8/9).
“The ISO Certification will be handed over the next month,” stated the University Secretary, Dr. Ir. Nasaruddin Salam, M.T. after contacted in his office Thursday (8/9).
The information in regards to the achievement of Unhas in receiving the ISO 9001:2015 was issued by the SAI Global based on the letter dated 7 September 2016, signed by the Service Delivery Manager Fadjar Deniswara.
Unhas as a matter of fact, has already achieved the ISO 9001:2008 partially (through faculties), yet this marks the inauguration of the University being institutionally awarded the ISO 9001:2015. The announcement of Unhas receiving the ISO was provided, as during the audit that took place, no significant matters were found, therefore feasible to be certified as International on the conduct of Management Systems Quality.
Nasaruddin Salam stated that the ISO 900 institutional certification is of essence, as it is in aligned with the A accredited status of Higher Education Institution and its relation to the early steps of opening an International Class in the future. The ISO is emphasized on administrative services of Unhas that has in the present times, utilized Information and Technologies. Starting from the conduct of lecturing, remuneration of lecturers and staffs, even to the feasibility to observe the academic achievements of students by parents.
In observing the conduct of the ISO, Nasaruddin Salam stated that as of now, the University consists of 40 internal auditors. They would, later on, observe all units, starting from the central offices to the smallest units.
