Universitas Hasanuddin through Graduate School established "Graduate School Seminar Series" under the theme "Enriching Graduate Research in Human-Centric Science and Technology Towards International Collaboration". This event took place at Prof Fachruddin Hall, Graduate School building, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, on Tuesday (17/09).
This Seminar series invited 2 Japanese speakers from Okayama Prefecture University, Prof. Teruaki Ito, Ph.D., (Department of Human Information Engineering) and Prof. Hironori Takimoto, Ph. D., (Department of Information and Communication Engineering).
The event was officially opened by Prof. Jamaluddin Jompa, Ph.D. as the Dean of Graduate School of Unhas. In his opening remark, he hoped that participants can gain new knowledge delivered by 2 Japanese speakers.
"I believe the presentation that will be seen together will make us excited. I hope you can follow along until the end because it discusses research related to technological development that is unavoidable in this era," kata Prof Jamal.
Prof Jamal added that the establishment of this seminar aims to enliven the scientific culture and academic atmosphere that supports Unhas as a World Class University (WCU).
In this event, 2 speakers delivered topics related to the general introduction of their departments and technologies and divided into two sessions of "Introduction of Research Activities in Kansei Information Engineering Laboratory" and "Introduction of Our Department, Laboratories, and Researches".
The Seminar was moderated by Muhammad Arsyad, SP., M. Si. Ph. D. (Director of Publication Management Center). This Seminar Series which is a monthly event from the Graduated School of Unhas attended by dozens of students and lecturers. (*)
