Muhammad Sapri Pamulu, Ph.D., an alumnus of Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), class of 1987, is appointed as President Director of PT. Indah Karya, a State-owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in construction and management.
Before his appointment, Sapri Pamulu served as a senior specialist at PT. Wiratman. Moreover, he worked for PT. Inovasi Benua Maritim as a commissioner and performed duties for an advisory board at PT. Citra Transpor Nusantara.
Sapri confessed his gratitude for the trust leading the enterprise. The enterprise aims to implement government programs in national economic development by conducting surveys, investigations, and consulting activities.
“Alhamdulillah, I regain the trust to contribute more to the development of Indonesia through the management of the State-owned Enterprise. In the future, PT. Indah Karya will be more open as means for collaboration and great opportunities for consultation. This is done with the hope of improving the quality of the economy and state income,” explained Sapri.
The appointment indeed cannot be separated from the various experiences that have shaped his unyielding personality. When Sapri was a student, he was active as a student activist. He led various campus organizations, including the General Secretary of the Civil Student Association (HMS) Unhas, the General Chair of the FT Unhas Student Senate in 1990/1991, and the General Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Student Communication Forum throughout Indonesia ( FKMTSI).
As a new President Director of PT. Indah Karya, Sapri hopes that he can encourage the company to implement the vision and the mission. The improvement will be taking place by providing creative, innovative, and sustainable services and products to meet customer needs and expectations.
Sapri Pamulu also tries to optimize collaboration with various parties to run the management system and efficient technology. With a similar approach, he hopes to give a valuable business process, partnership improvement both at the national and international level that can help improve the economy and community welfare.
