The last three International Cultural Programs (ICP) hosted by Hasanuddin University in 2023, 2024, and 2025 consistently carried the theme “Maritime Culture of South Sulawesi,” attracting an increasing number of international participants each year. The programs combined academic lectures with immersive fieldwork at the Unhas campus and PPLH Puntondo in Takalar Regency, allowing participants to explore the socio-cultural life of coastal communities. Through hands-on experiences such as observing seaweed cultivation and engaging with local maritime societies, participants gained valuable insights into daily coastal life while fostering cross-cultural understanding.
Prospective candidates are warmly invited to watch highlights from the past three years of ICP to better appreciate this enriching international experience.
