The International Office (IO) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), together with the Public Relations and Promotion Unit, as well as the UNHAS Admission Office, were invited to participate in the IPEKA University Expo (IVERSE). The event was held on Friday–Saturday, 15–16 August 2025, at IPEKA Christian School, located in the Centre Point of Indonesia (CPI), Makassar City. IVERSE served as a platform for numerous private universities from both Indonesia and abroad to present their strengths and achievements in front of IPEKA students. UNHAS was the only local public university invited to this prestigious event.
In addition to promoting their universities at designated booths, all participants were required to deliver presentations highlighting their excellence. Representing UNHAS were Muhammad Ridwan, M.A., Secretary of IO, and Nurul Ichsani, M.Si., Head of the Admission Office. The UNHAS presentation was scheduled for four sessions on Friday, running from morning until just before Friday prayers. On Saturday, UNHAS continued its participation by promoting the campus through its booth, though no further presentation sessions were held. 
The two-day expo concluded with an appreciation session from IPEKA, which expressed its gratitude to all participating universities. Tokens of appreciation and merchandise were handed over as a gesture of thanks. Through this event, UNHAS not only strengthened its visibility among prospective students but also reaffirmed its position as a leading public university committed to internationalisation and academic excellence.
