Following the UNHAS team’s visit to India in early 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) officially initiated an academic collaboration with Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust (KMCT) Dental College, India. The partnership marks a new chapter in expanding international cooperation within the dental sciences. KMCT Dental College, which operates under one of the largest educational institutions in Kerala, India, shares a strong commitment to academic excellence and innovation. This shared vision forms a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two institutions.
A recent Zoom meeting held on Monday, 29 September 2025, brought together key representatives from both sides, including the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, the Vice Dean for Partnership, Research, and Innovation, the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program, and representatives from 12 study programs within FKG UNHAS. The discussion focused on concrete next steps, including organizing expert lectures from both faculties, conducting online webinars for each study program, and preparing for joint research initiatives.
