The master's study program in nutritional sciences (S2 Nutrition) is a study
program that has been established since 2021 based on the Decree of the
Chancellor of Hasanuddin University No. 3667/UN4.1/KEP 2021 and is under the
scope of the Faculty of Public Health, Hasanuddin University. The Master of
Nutrition Study Program has been a member of AIPGI (Association of Indonesian
Higher Education Institutions for Nutrition) since 2022 with member number:
AIPGI-06-01-005-2022. Apart from that, the Master of Nutrition Study Program
has received a recommendation to fulfill the minimum accreditation requirements
from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health
Indonesia (Lam-PTKes) with SK number: 0010/LAM-PTKes/Akr.PSB.PTN-
BH/Mag/III/2022. The nutritional science master's study program aims to produce
masters in the field of nutritional science who have the ability to carry out
independent nutritional studies and become managers in institutions related to
nutrition. The Masters in Nutrition Study Program chose Public Health Nutrition
as its superior field. Some of the study topics that have been designated as a road
map are Maternal and Child Nutrition, Nutrition and Infectious and Degenerative
Diseases, and Functional Food studies. The curriculum is structured for 4
semesters but students can complete their education in 3 semesters.
Alumni of the Master of Nutrition Study Program are expected to have the
capacity to become managers, researchers, innovators, communicators and
leaders. Generally, students who continue on to the Masters in Nutrition Study
Program are those who want to become lecturers. However, job opportunities for
alumni are wide open, such as becoming researchers and joining research
institutions in the Health and Nutrition sector which continues to grow. Apart
from that, opportunities to join international institutions such as Unicef and WHO
are wide open. Alumni are also expected to develop themselves in the field of
nutrition entrepreneurship and open non-governmental organizations engaged in
community empowerment.

Learning is not only carried out directly in the classroom, but also by doing
practice or direct visits to the field. The learning process is carried out in a hybrid
manner (online and offline, while still adhering to the Decree of the Chancellor of
Hasanuddin University). The minimum study load in the Master of Nutrition
Study Program to obtain a Master of Nutrition Science (M.Gz) degree is around
38 credits. The lecture process (in-class learning) is only carried out in semesters
1 and 2, while semester 3 is focused on conducting research, results seminars and
closing exams.

PROSEDUR PENDAFTARAN
Jalur JNS UTBK adalah salah satu jalur seleksi mandiri yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Hasanuddin untuk menjaring calon mahasiswa yang mempunyai prestasi akademik disamping kemampuan finansial. Penilaian terhadap peserta jalur JNS UTBK dilakukan berdasarkan skor nilai UTBK-SNBT dan satu nilai materi ujian yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Hasanuddin.

Jalur JNS Non UTBK adalah salah satu jalur seleksi mandiri yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Hasanuddin untuk menjaring calon mahasiswa yang mempunyai prestasi akademik disamping kemampuan finansial. Penilaian terhadap peserta jalur JNS Non UTBK dilakukan berdasarkan Nilai Ujian yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Hasanuddin (tanpa memperhitungkan Nilai UTBK).
