Makassar, Akademia Makassar — Hasanuddin University (Unhas) has announced its plan to provide scholarships for approximately 3,750 students in 2024. The announcement was made by Unhas Rector Prof. Jamaluddin Jompa during a press conference on Friday (December 29).
Prof. Jamaluddin explained that to qualify for the scholarship, students must meet several requirements that will be verified by the university’s Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Team. The requirements include submitting various documents such as proof of parents’ income, photos of their house, electricity bills, bank statements, and water bills.
Head of the Unhas Public Relations Bureau, Ahmad Bahar, added that once all documents are collected, the UKT Team will determine the tuition fee scale applicable to each student. The UKT scale ranges from Level 1, representing the lowest tuition fee, to Level 8, representing the highest.
This scholarship program aims to support eligible students in pursuing higher education at Unhas. The initiative aligns with the university’s mission to provide equitable access to quality education for the younger generation.
