That amount, according to Vice Rector III, actually decreased from previous years. Rasyid further informed that, in 2015, the number of applicants who are applied in getting Bidikmisi scholarship was about 1,200 students, but only 780 students received the scholarship. In 2014, there are around 2000 students who applied, but only 964 students who qualify in getting the scholarship. “So the number of the recipients of this Bidikmisi scholarship has decreased,” said Rasyid who also stated that the decrease in the number of recipients of the Bidikmisi scholarship is solely because of government budget allocations has also decreased.
