The Indian Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor Leste, His Excellency Manoj Kumar Bharti was a guest speaker at a public lecture held by Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) Makassar, South Sulawesi, in the Senate Room, 2nd Floor of the Rectorate Building, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, on Monday, February 6, 2023. H.E. Manoj explained in general the bilateral relations between Indonesia and India.
According to him, Indonesia and India have similarities in various aspects, one of which is the management of the education system. Indonesia and India have high populations. Even India is inseparable from the comparison of the number of young people with an enthusiasm for education, which is not tiny. So they are considered to have an essential role in contributing to the progress and development of the country’s economy.
“Everyone has great opportunities to achieve their education, so everyone must be able to compete to achieve their goals. Contribution to change in the nation is a form of implementation of what has been mastered in the scientific field,” explained H.E. Manoj
The Rector of UNHAS, Prof. Jamaluddin Jompa, said that UNHAS and India had become partners that synergized with each other in achieving the world of education. One of them is in providing opportunities and opportunities for students to provide access to educational facilities and infrastructure through a scholarship program. Approximately 200 participants enthusiastically attended this public lecture on India and Indonesia Partnership.
