Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), through the International Office (IO), conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Finalization of the International Report Book on Monday, 7 October 2025, starting at 10.00 a.m. until completion. The discussion took place in the Secretary of University Meeting Room, 5th Floor of the Rectorate Building.
The session was officially opened by the Head of IO, Andi Masyitha Irwan, Ph.D., who delivered a brief introduction outlining the purpose of the meeting and the progress made since the initial discussion. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of the report as a comprehensive reflection of UNHAS’s internationalization efforts and as an accountability document for internal and external stakeholders.
Following the opening, Haniek Khoirunnissa, M.Sc, known as Ms. Haniek, as the Person in Charge (PIC) of the International Report, presented the current progress of the compilation process. Ms. Haniek explained the structure of the report, the types of data collected, and the remaining information needed to complete the document. Her presentation highlighted the collaborative efforts among faculties and units to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data.
During the session, Prof. Ir. Sumbangan Baja, M.Phil., Ph.D, the Secretary of the University, provided constructive comments and feedback to further enhance the quality of the report. His insights focused on ensuring the consistency of data presentation, strengthening analytical narratives, and improving the overall readability of the publication.
The discussion concluded with an agreement to integrate the suggested revisions and continue coordination among the IO team and related university units to finalize the report. The International Report Book is expected to serve as an important reference and documentation of UNHAS’s growing international engagement and achievements in 2025.
