Universitas Hasanuddin, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Cultivation established a workshop entitled “The latest Biotechnology Research Methodologies and Mentoring of Script Writing". The event started at 09.00 WITA in Meeting Room GB II, Graduate School of Unhas, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Saturday (31/08).
The keynote speakers of the workshop were, Prof. Em. Masahiro Mii (Professor Emiritus, Universitas Chiba, Jepang) and two Invited Speakers, Dr. Ir. Andi Nasruddin, M. Sc. (Grantee, WCP-B 2018 Universitas Hasanuddin) dan Ifayanti Ridwan Saleh, SP., MP., Ph.D., (Head of Publication, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Hasanuddin).
The event was opened by the Head of Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Dr. Ir. Amir Yassi, M. Si. In his opening remarks, he hoped this event can enrich our knowledge and insight related to Biotechnology and Academic writing for research results.
The person in charge of this event, Ir. Rinaldi sjahril, M.Agr., Ph.D, explained that the event is a forum of discussion to produce international paper.
"Our target is the articles that can be indexed in scopus with minimum of Q1 and Q2 which are planned to be uploaded in November," said Rinaldi.
This activity became one of the discussion media for participants to find out how to write a good scientific research. Therefore, it will be easy to be indexed in scopus.
The workshop was attended by 20 participants from lecturer and students of Graduate school..(*)
