Hasanuddin University, through the Academic and Student Affairs field, launched the Unhas Study and Congregational Prayer Movement (GUMSB). The opening activity took place starting at 15.30 WITA offline at the Ikhtiar Unhas Mosque, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, and connected virtually through the zoom meeting application, Tuesday (06/09).
Starting the activity, the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Sp.BM(K), expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the resource persons to share knowledge and experiences at Unhas. He said that Unhas would continue to encourage and grow the spirit of the Unhas academic community through GUMSB.
The activity was officially opened by the Chancellor of Unhas Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. He conveyed that the movement was a form of effort to encourage efforts to strengthen the spirituality of the Unhas academic community. Through GUMSB, it is expected to be able to present goodness and strengthen Islamic values in each work unit.

On this occasion, present as a resource person in giving tausiah, namely Ust. Prof. Dr. AG. KH. Quraish Shihab, Lc., MA., related to “Makrifatul Quran: Divine Revelation as a Source of Knowledge and Primary Human Needs”. In general, he explained the revelation of God, which is to know and know the gifts of God by using the heart.
