In order to improve the quality of international activities, Universitas Hasanuddin under the control of Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business formed a working group team tasked with facilitating the implementation of inbound and outbound activities as well as assisting international students in each faculty where they are studying.
The first meeting with an initial discussion agenda was held on Tuesday (20/09) in Meeting Room A, 4th Floor of the Rectorate Building, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
Vice-Rector for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business, Prof. Dr. eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil., explained that in general Unhas continues to optimize the attempts on numerous strategic and planned steps to improve its reputation both nationally and internationally.
The formation of this Working Group Team is a step to actualize the commitment to improving the quality of various international activities. It is highly necessary that all elements within Unhas’s scope be involved to succeed in the whole process.
“Generally, it is highly expected that the formation of this working group can help encourage the quality improvements in various aspects such as assisting faculties to conduct good coordination among the involved parties which is specialized in the matter of inbound and outbound activities. So, all activities that lead to the Unhas internationalization process can be well organized in an optimal and systematic way “explained Prof. Adi.
Furthermore, Prof. Adi said that Unhas would continue to make various strategic efforts to enhance its quality. According to him, the responsibility and involvement of all elements of the academic community will have a significant impact on improving the quality and capability of Unhas on the world scale.
This meeting was attended by some selected lecturers as the representatives from various faculties generally explained the internationalization activities as well as provided suggestions and input for the future that could be implemented to further result in a significant increase of the Unhas international activities.
