Experimental Set Equilibrium of Parallel Forces

Technical Description

This experimental set is used in conjunction with the SE 110/SE 111 universal testing frames to demonstrate the state of equilibrium of parallel forces in a general force system. For the experiments, the set contains two outline trusses and a disc with various force application points. The structures are made of Plexiglass. They can be hung on the frame and loaded with additional weights until they hang horizontally and thus an equilibrium of forces has been achieved. To be able to easily read the positions, a scale grid is printed on the panel. It is possible using magnets to attach, e.g., sheets of paper to the panel so that positions can be marked directly.
